Over a life time you will meet many people. But usually only a handful will become a special part of your lives. Steve and I have been blessed and are proud to say these people are like our extended family. On this page I will introduce you to some these amazing people.

Few people that we grow up with ever become a permanent friend. My best friend growing up was Cathy. She is living in Florence NY and now has a wonderful man by the name of Dan and three awesome children. I don't have a picture of them as yet but I sure intend to get one. I love her more then she knows and we have so many interesting stories. But the one that is most precious to me is how God was able to bring us back together again after we lost touch for a few years. She's a remarkable woman and  her friendship is a precious gift I never intend to lose again.

When I first met Steve, his best friend was a man named Everette. Everette is from Great Britain. Has an accent to prove it and WOW what a voice. We use to go out together to do Karoke. Everette has been involved with music for some time and even has his own CD. Everette married the love his life, Miss Carolyn and the two of them now reside in Allentown PA. I can't find my picture of him and Carolyn together but as soon as I do I will change this one.

There's no way to make a friends page and leave this guy out. Hi Norm! Norm was Steve's boss when he met me. When Steve said he was going to meet a woman he met on the net, Norm thought he had lost his mind. He finally settled down when Steve was adamant he was going and then Norm tried to get Steve to rent a car to make a good impression on me. Steve's answer was if she doesn't like what I drive then she's not going to be good enough for me....ha, ha.  I wish I had a picture of that car. It didn't scare me off though as you can see. Norm was in the Tropical Plant business. He had a greenhouse in Tannersville, PA. He and Steve worked there together and had numerous accounts in NYC. You should see the van we had to take the plants there. Huge purplish van with ...get this.....the company name of ....Kangaroo Ranch on the side. We had a lot of fun with that one in New York City. Norm was more then a boss he was a friend and a Karoke buddy as well. Norm since moved to New Mexico and is running a car dealership there. If you remember a song by the name of Rock Lobster, you haven't heard it song correctly. Norm can do this song hands down and is much better then even the original artist.

Special Mention: I do not have a picture of Miss Marcia. She was Steve's babysitter when I met him. She's a wonderful lady with a strong Jamaican accent. Very interesting to listen to her....and a very strong lady. She did a wonderful job with the girls before I arrived and we love her soooo much. She and her husband still live up in the Pocono Mountains.

One could never acknowledge friends and leave out Gary Miller. Gary was the Karoke DJ. But one like most will never meet. Gary has a huge following to this day up in the Pocono's. He appears in some of the top Resorts in the area. He became a wonderful friend to our entire family. One nice thing with Gary's shows was that you could bring your entire family and have a great time together. Thanks Gary for many memories.

This is Mr. Shorty.. Shorty was a friend that we met online. He was living in Alabama and when we found a school down there for Steve to attend, he opened up his home to us. We stayed with him till we could get on our feet and find a place of our own. This is truly one of God's most giving people. Not just to us but to all who know him. He holds a special place in our hearts.

While living in Alabama, Steve and I were able to start our own Karoke business. Mike and Ada were always there in the audience. They became close friends to our family and we enjoyed many outings with them. Mike and Ada still live in Alabama and now have started their own Karoke business. They are very giving and loving people and I can't wait to see them again on one of our trips down that way.

Because of hard times and due to the fact that Alabama is VERY hot and humid, we decided to move and this time we came up to Ashtabula. Steve is finishing his schooling here and it's giving me time to be near my precious children and grandchildren. As I stated on our opening page we work for Community Care Ambulance. There we made friends with a lady by the name of Carolyn. Carolyn is an EMT with a great personality. Trust me if you were ever hurting and scared you would want this lady in the back of the ambulance with you. After I take the EMT course we are hoping to be partners. What a pair we would make..............  Carolyn has two daughters, Laura and Sarah and lives just around the block from me.        ( Hey guys.....she's single too....)she's gonna get me for adding that but hey, you never know who will seeing this page. Love you girlfriend!

Picture Coming

Now, this would be Tom. Tom is an awesome man that we have grown very fond of. Although Tom only lives in the next town from us, I never actually met him in person till we moved back to Ohio.  He's become a good friend to Steve and I. Tom owns his own little fleet of boats and loves to go out after the big ones on Lake Erie. Brilliant fisherman, mechanic and I guess, Jack Of All Trades. Tom's been just about everywhere and done just about everything, he's got a ton of stories and we hope to hear more of them over the years. We love ya!
